It is worn and has a brown patina. The obverse shows a shield with double-headed eagle. The reverse displays the upright hand of Antwerp with K & I either side, star below. An incomplete copper alloy jews harp dating circa AD 1500-1800.  The object consists of an annular head, with two legs projecting downwards that narrow to a point. The head and arms are lozenge-shaped in cross-section. On one side of the head is the rabbet for the iron tongue, now missing, that was plucked to produce the note.
