An incomplete copper alloy Trumpet Brooch of Roman date (AD 100-250). Mackreth type TR 1.2b6 from the decorative scheme.
The object is composed of a rounded trumpet head with a projecting recurved lobe at its apex. The back of the head is concave and retains an integral loop through which a partial wire loop. The pin is missing.
The bow is constricted below the head, expanding to a three stepped moulding, below which the bow narrows toward a rounded double stepped pedestal foot. The back of the foot and lower bow retains a partial triangular catchplate.

A near complete Early Bronze Age barbed and tanged flint arrowhead (2500-1500 BC) This arrowhead has been knapped from a pale brown / grey coloured piece of flint. It is broadly sub-triangular in plan and lentoid in cross section. It is broadly symmetrical in shape with one barb and the tang being complete. The other barb is broken close to the body of the arrowhead by a clean break or snap. Both the long sides of the arrowhead have been retouched to create sharp edges.

A Post Medieval copper alloy trade weight of Charles I or II (1625-1649 or 1660-1685). The weight is discoidal, its upper side is concave, has a raised rim, and a central circular indentation which is 12.8mm in diameter. : A posy ring, subannular due to distortion. Cast D-shaped section. This ring has been cast with an alternating pattern of v-shaped chevrons and love-hearts, whereby the point of the heart sites within the inverted chevron to create the sense of a leaves and a bud resembling a flower somewhat like a crocus in form. The surface of the heart and the chevron are tooled to create cells, suggesting the ring might once have been enamelled.The internal band is inscribed in an italic script with: Thy virtue is thy honor.

A seemingly complete copper alloy object, possibly a spur, dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1700).
The object is U-shaped with a circular section and flat circular terminals with iron rivets through the centres. A flattened cylindrical collar delineates the end of the U-shaped bar and the start of the terminals. The object is undecorated and has a smooth dark green patina.

A complete copper alloy buckle frame dating to the late medieval to post medieval period (c.AD 1350-1650).
The buckle is a 'spectacle' buckle that has a frame of two oval loops which form an overall figure of 8. It is D-shaped in section. A pin rest is present at the middle point of one of the loops, but the pin is missing. The frame is undecorated and has a dark green patina.

An incomplete buckle chape dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1660-1720).
The chape is sub-triangular in shape with a waisted body. The terminal curves and is incomplete, but appears to have been studded. The opposite end presents two rounded fixtures for attaching to a separate spindle to the buckle frame. One face presents a stamped maker's mark of 'WB' within a rectangular cartouche. The object is undecorated and has a smooth bright green patina.

An Early Medieval silver penny of Offa of Mercia (AD 757-796), 'floriate cross with lozenge centre reverse' type (North 302var; cf. especially Chick 68), later substantive Light Coinage (phase IIc) dating to c.AD 784/5-792/3, moneyer: Babba, mint: Canterbury (see discussion below). The coin is complete although encrusted with dirt.
Note that in the spelling on the moneyer's name on the reverse, the first A is located at a cross end rather than in a beaded circle as seen for the other letters.

Complete d-shaped finger-ring of the mourning/memorial/memento-mori type. The exterior of the ring is heavily worked with deeply incised decoration. A skull is the central motif, to its right a reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, an oval-shaped flower with lozenges at its centre, a reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, a further flower, and a final reserve of cross-hatched lozenges, before returning to the skull. There are traces of black enamel surviving in the incised decoration.

A medieval silver annular brooch. The frame is formed from silver wire, half of which is round in section, while the other half has been formed into square wire, twisted to give the appearance of cabling, with punched decoration running along the twists. There is a constriction for the pin (now missing), at which point the brooch is broken, probably at the point of the original soldering. The brooch is otherwise in good condition. The brooch dates to the 13th-14th century. This is a well-known type of medieval brooch. See SUSS-7AC4AA; HAMP-999097 and DOR-715865 for similar examples.

A near complete copper alloy and glass mirror case of Medieval date (c. 1270-1350 AD). The mirror case is fused shut, missing some of the rim and part of the double lugged catch.
Both circular lids have perforated lugs at opposite sides. One lid has the broken stump of a suspension loop set at 90 degrees to the lugs, measuring 3.6mm thick, 2.2mm wide, and 3.5mm long. A complete cast lead pointed oval seal matrix of Medieval date (Likely 13th Century AD) The seal matrix is flat and pointed oval in form.
The reverse of the seal matrix has a 7.9mm long pierced lug projecting just below the top point. The lug is intact but flattened sideways. The remainder of the reverse is undecorated.
The central device, set within an incised pointed oval border, is a fleur-de-lis executed in line work apart from the central petal, which is executed in relief.

An incomplete copper alloy Colchester Derivative, Polden Hill type brooch of The Eastern Group (Mackreth 2011, 78-80) dating to the Roman period (c. AD 80-120).
