Cast lead or lead alloy weight of probable Medieval date (1200-1700 AD). The weight is broadly circular in plan and domed (D shaped) in cross section. The upper face is domed and has a small single irregular pierced hole (9.1mm diameter) through the centre. The weight is a mid grey colour with an even, but slightly corroded and abraded, patina which covers all surfaces. The weight has been marked by movement in the ploughsoil. A complete circular lead probable trade weight of possible Post-Medieval date, circa 17th - 18th centuries. The weight has flat surfaces on the upper and lower faces. The obverse face has a stamped mark which could represent either 'IB' for the weight or may be an official stamp that represent the initials of an authority or establishment. The stamp is situated slightly off centre. The reverse does not have a stamp or decoration. The weight is a mid-cream to brown colour with a worn surface. Cast copper alloy weight of post-medieval date (1500-1850). The weight is part of a larger group of stacking weights, having a wide and relatively thick raised edge on the upper face. The front and rear faces both have turned circles around a central hollow point; all of these concentric circles are regular and well formed. There are no stamped counter marks. The reverse face has a central recess filled with white lead alloy. The weight is a mid green colour with an abraded surface patina. The weight measures 6.2mm thick, diameter of 32.5mm and weighs 24.83 grams (0.87 ozs).

It has a considerable degree of wear on both faces- on one a projecting rim is apparent and the surface is slightly dished / concave. The weight is a mid cream - grey colour. The objects upper face is concave and roundly shaped in the body with a D-shaped section, and a rectangular extension at one end, presumably for suspension. The other face is flat with some intrusion from the extension along the surface. The weight is dark grey in colour with a white patina. It is 21.59mm in length and 14.58mm thick. It weighs 24.4g.
