A lead alloy weight of probably Medieval to Post Medieval date (c. AD 1100-1800). The object is discoid with a raised rim around the edge of the obverse. There are two prominent grooves in the rim, one at around 12 o'clock (8.42mm long, 2.34mm wide) and one at 7 o'clock (9.02mm long, 1.85mm wide). There is a raised, separate trapezoidal lead alloy section (18.56mm long, 10.38mm wide) that is attached to the obverse via a rusted rivet or nail at an oblique angle near the centre from 10 o'clock to 12 o'clock. A lead alloy weight, possibly a pump seal weight, of likely Post Medieval date (c. AD 1650-1800). The weight is sub-rectangular in plan, profile, and cross section. On the top of the weight, there is a sub-rectangular recess where the left and right hand edges are raised and in the centre there is a sub-oval lug (26.19mm long, 22.75mm wide). On the reverse, there are two raised sections on both the left and right hand side that both curve inwards, creating a recess that has larger, trapezoidal sections at the top and the bottom of the weight connected by a narrower sub-rectangula…

A Post Medieval copper alloy trade weight of Charles I or II (1625-1649 or 1660-1685). The weight is discoidal, its upper side is concave, has a raised rim, and a central circular indentation which is 12.8mm in diameter. Around this circle there are four mostly well-defined stamp marks and a very faint one: 1) a crowned CR monogram (the R is barely discernible), which marks this weight as having been made during Charles’ reign, 2) a sword hilt, 3) the letter A, for the avoirdupois system, 4) an unclear stamp, shaped like a D, possibly the tip of the sword whose hilt can be seen o…

A cast lead alloy circular ball (similar in size and shape to a musket ball) of probable post medieval 1600-1800 date. The ball has a circular shaped hole through its mid point (5.19mm in diameter) and has no sign of decoration, casting seam or casting spur. It is a light grey colour with a relatively thick surface patina. It is highly unlikely that the ball is from shot and instead is suggested to be from a line or net weight. A plain, cast lead weight, of probable Post Medieval date. This weight has suffered a couple of heavy plough strikes which have gouged and mishaped it. Originally it was conical in shape with a large central piercing. It has a yellow-white patina, and is grey in colour where abrasion and strikes have occurred. It is 14.5 mm high and has a maximum diameter 26.8mm (although probably less before it was damaged). It weighs 36.8g.

A complete, cast, lead alloy weight, probably Post Medieval in date, although these are difficult to date and therefore a broader Roman - Post Medieval date range is suggested. This plain weight has a squat, cylindrical shape. There is a small central piercing. It is mostly grey over its smooth surface, with a yellow cream patina in its crevices. There is no obvious decoration or symbols on the surfaces. It's maximum diameter is 25.9mm, and it is 14.9mm high. It weighs 40.8g. The central piercing's diameter is 4.8mm.

The surface is very abraded, with a yellow white patina in the unworn areas, and grey yellow colour where abrasion has occurred. There is no obvious decoration or symbols on the well worn surface. A cast lead weight of post medieval date. The unmarked weight is broadly flat and broadly circular in plan. It has a pronounced and battered, irregular rim, which is most prominent on the top side. The irregular nature of the rim is probably due to knocks in the plough soil, which have also slighlty bent the weight and left a couple of gouges. The weight has a yellow grey patina all over. The maximum diameter of the weight is51.0mm, and its maximum thickness, from the rim, is 11.2mm. It weighs 139.6g (4.92 oz).
