Five fragments of roof tile of probable later medieval or early post-medieval date (1400 - 1600). All five fragments are of the same fabric. This fabric is a mid red-orange colour and has a significant number of angular and sub-angular grit and silica inclusions. The largest fragment is 73.8mm length, 37.4mm width and 14.9mm thick, it weighs 31.42 grams. The smallest fragment is 39.1mm length, 38.1mm width and 13.3mm thick, it weighs 15.5 grams. A fragment / sherd of floor tile probably dating to the later medieval or early post-medieval periods (1400 - 1600). The fragment is sub-rectangular in both plan and cross section and measures 63.8mm in length, 50.2mm width and is 16.9mm thick. It weighs 67.1 grams.
The fabric of the tile is a mid-red orange colour with a number of angular and sub-angular grit like inclusions. There are also a number of similarly coloured angular and sub-angular pottery / tile inclusions. This suggests that this tile has been tempered with broken tiles.
