A post-medieval lead alloy whistle, of a type described as a 'police whistle'. The whistle is circular in cross section (14.21mm in diameter). The mouth of the whistle, which is an open ring (10.7mm in diameter), tapers upwards towards a collar, and from there the main body of the whistle (35.19mm in length, including the collars) joins another collar, tapering away to a ring at the top.
