A secondary flake of opaque light brown coloured flint with a light mottled grey patina of probable Neolithic date (c. 4000 - 2351 BC). The flake is sub-rectangular in shape and triangular in section. It has cortex remaining along a lateral edge. The dorsal surface has other vertical scars. The ventral surface has conchoidal ripples. The bulb of percussion is missing. It measures 31.43mm in length, 18.23mm in width, 3.56mm thick and weighs 2.14grams.

Roman (2nd to 3rd centuries) finger ring: The ring has been cast in copper alloy and is complete. The hoop of the ring is sub hexagonal, verging on circular in form, with slightly flaring shoulders and a flat, rectangular bezel. The bezel appears to be decorated with a low-relief double stranded lozenge. The surface of the ring has an incomplete light blue-green patina with traces of red copper corrosion. Half of the object is straight in profile and tapers in width to a blunt point. The other half is curled to form a penannular loop with the gap sited above the straight section. Post Medieval (later 17th century) incomplete cast lead four part cloth seal. Two discs of a four-part seal remain, discs two and three, but the connecting ribbon is missing. Disc two has 'OF ENGLAND with a bust facing right. Disc three has a fleur-de-lis with 1 to left and ½ to the right. The seal is in fair condition and the surface has a buff patina. The largest disc measures 19.39mm long, 13.42mm wide, 1.57mm thick and weighs 1.23g. Cloth seals were in use between the 14th and 18th centuries (Egan, 1994) as a form of quality control. Medieval buckle (mid 13th to the mid 14th century): The copper alloy single looped buckle frame is an oval with the strap bar having an integral buckle plate. The loop of the buckle frame is obliquely angled and undecorated and tapers in width at the side edges which then meet the buckle plate. Both strap bars are narrowed and one strap bar has a copper alloy sheet curled around it. The frame has a dark green patina and the copper alloy sheet has a mid green patina.
