An incomplete medieval, gold gem-set finger ring. This has a large hollow rectangular bezel with an oval aperture (4.9mm by 2.2mm) and purple stone set within. Flanking the bezel are small flanges that are decorated with a ridged pattern of small parallel lines. The hoop has a D-shaped cross-section and is decorated at the shoulders with a series of engraved lines. In the centre of the shoulders is an oval mount for a stone, one is missing but the other still retains a hemispherical green stone. The remainder of the hoop is undecorated.

A flat circular seal matrix that has a triangular shield in the centre, which is decorated with the heraldic device of a single turreted castle in the middle. This is surrounded by the inscription + S’ PETRI DE CVWS (Seal of Peter of C...us, the final word being hard to read). On the reverse is a rearward projecting loop at one end that sits atop a central rib that runs down the centre of the reverse.

Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch that has an oval head plate. On the reverse is a single pierced lug with hook below that holds the spring. Although the spring is now heavily corroded five curls are still visible but the pin is missing. The spring is held in place by a wire pin axes bar whose ends extend to the top of the brooch where they would have formed a loop on the top of the head. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, double pierced lug, Harlow type brooch dating to 43-100 AD. This has a double pieced lug on the rear of the head for the spring and external cord, both of which are missing. The wings have a convex face with five recessed vertical band at the tip. The bow is undecorated and tapers to a point at the foot, the catch plate on the reverse is complete.

Retouched flint blade fragment possibly from a knife or base of a long leaf shaped arrowhead. This is the butt or proximal end of the flake that has a rounded base, the sides have bifacial retouch that is long, scaled and with a low angle on the dorsal side: short and with a low angle on the ventral. Dark garish-brown flint with a speckled/patchy patina.

This coin has been folded in two so only the obverse is visible. Importantly and to the credit of the finder they have not attempted to unfold the coin.

Copper alloy strap end that is rectangular shape with slightly convex edges and a pointed forward edge. The forward edge of the strap end has a crude animal facemask with two multifaceted panels for the eyes and eyebrows, behind which are two circular panels with crescent centre for the ears. The main panel is decorated with a geometric pattern of opposing inwardly curved arches, the are in-between in infilled with short transverse lines, while the inside of each arch has angled lies of varying length and thickness, the rear of the strap end is truncated.

Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type. This has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axis bar, the spring and pin are now missing. A rearwards facing hook at the top of the head would have held the external cord of the spring. Expanded shoulders flank the head, the top of the bow is decorated with a double moulded ridge that runs down the top third of the bow. At the base is a slightly expanded foot with the catchplate on the reverse. Traces of a white metal coating remains over much of the surface.

A truncated rearwards facing hook at the top of the head would have held the external cord of the spring. Double recessed angled lines decorate the front of the wings and a ridge runs from the top of the bow and down its front. The lower part of the bow is missing resulting in the loss of the catch plate.
