Lead pointed oval vessica shaped seal matrix. The face is very badly worn and corroded resulting in the loss of almost all of the detail except for a recessed pellet in the centre. Also, the entire inscription has also been lost except for the vague impression of a U or W to one side. The reverse has similarly suffered from ware and corrosion. Traces of a central spine are visible that are flanked by a semi-circular arch the has a pellet in the centre. there would have been a loop at one end of the spine but this is now completely truncated.

Copper alloy pointed oval vessica shaped seal matrix that has a truncated loop on the top of the reverse. The face is finely decorated with a female figure standing in a long dress that reaches to the floor, there is a gathering of cloth in the front of her body that would be the seam of her garments, then a further gating of cloth either side which is adorned with small stamped chevrons in order to give the impression of a fur lined clothing. Copper alloy sprung dolphin brooch that has the remains of a rearwards facing hook at the top of the head that would have held the spring. Although heavily corroded the brooch does not appear to be decorated. The lower part of the bow is truncated resulting in the loss of the catch plate. Date 43-65AD

Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill. It has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that hold the pin axis bar, the spring is made from eight curls, the pin is complete. A rearwards facing loop at the back of the head holds the external cord of the spring. Small shoulders flank the head. At the apex of the bow on both sides is a recessed semicircle that is filled with blue enamel, below this are two sets of double moulded and angled ridges that form a chevron pattern. The foot is globular and the catch plate on the reverse is closed. Date 80-120AD.
