A parallel can be found on the PAS database CORN-E790D6, discovered in Cornwall.  The object has a height of 23.1 mm and a width of 24 mm. The thickness is 4.8 mm. It weighs 9.3 grams.

One spherical lead alloy shot / ball of probable post medieval or early modern date (1600-1800 AD). Due to the size and weight of the ball it is most likely to be from a grapeshot. The shot is spherical in shape with an even surface. It has no casting seams or casting sprues from the mould. There is no evidence of the shot having been fired. It is a light cream colour with abraded powdery patinated surface. Cast lead or lead alloy bi-convex decorated spindle whorl of Medieval date (1000 - 1450 AD); most probably from 1300-1550 AD. The spindle whorl is circular in plan and bi-convex in profile. A fragment of a medieval lead alloy pilgrims' ampulla comprising the lower portion of the flask. One side has a crowned Lombardic letter T framed by floral sprays; the other side depicts a fleur-de-lis within a pellet border. A complete lead alloy uniface token. It is circular in plan and rectangular in profile.The upper face is decorated with a central raised ladder and sided by 2 V's facing outwards. The reverse is plain and is not detailed. The token is in good condition and has little wear, however it has been broken in half and glued together and a section of the edge has been chipped on one half. The object measures: Width: 16.15mm, Length: 17.33mm, Thickness: 1.91mm, Weight: 2.7 grams.

It is circular in plan and rectangular in profile.The upper face is decorated with a cross marked on a faded circle which has been heavlily damaged by soil erosion to a point where it is devoid of detail that can be identified. The reverse is faded but possibly is a knight wearing a close helmet facing to the right. The token has a cream grey coloured surface patina. It is heavily abraded. The object measures: Width: 21.49mm, Length: 24.60mm, Thickness: 3.04mm, Weight: 10.1 grams.
