A complete, Medieval, silver, folded penny of Richard I (AD 1189 - AD 1199) or John (AD 1199 - AD 1216), Short Cross class 4 (probably 4b), dating to the period AD 1194 - AD 1204/5. Mint and moneyer unclear as coin is folded, reverse is obscurred. North Vol 1, page 220 - 221, No: 968/1 - 968/3 and 966.
