A complete cast copper alloy end-looped cosmetic pestle of early Roman date (c. AD 50-200). The integrally cast pestle has a bird-headed loop at one end, measuring 12.8mm in diameter and 3.4mm wide, with the loop having a faceted oval cross section c. 3.4-4.0mm thick. The loop curves back on itself to attach to the underside of the pestle terminating in a recurved, flared lip 4.7mm wide (representing a bird’s beak). A near complete cast copper alloy Roman Trumpet brooch of Group A, dating from AD 75 - 150. The bow of the brooch has an angular profile and an angular D shaped cross section. The bow tapers from a flared head to a flared bulbous foot knop. The head of the brooch is nearly complete, it is oval in plan, and tapers into the bow. An incomplete copper-alloy button and loop fastener. The button is a small circular frame whose top edge has a raised border surrounding a recessed circular cell.  The cell looks to have originally been filled with a read enamel, although only traces remain around the edges. On the undersides is the shank of the loop, this bends round at a 90-degree angle away from the button element of the artefact, before expanding into an oval loop.

Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch that has an oval head plate surmounted by a truncated loop. On the reverse are two rearward facing perforated lug that holds the spring support bar, the spring and pin looks to have been made from iron as this area is heavily encrusted in Fe corrosion. The bow would emanate from the front of the head plate but is truncated.

Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill CD PH 3 type AD 75-200. This has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that are truncated but would have held the pin axis bar. At the rear of the head is a loop that would have held the external cord for the spring.  The front of the bow is decorated with three groves that run down its length. The lower half of the bow is truncated resulting in the loss of the catchplate.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, possible double pierced lug, Harlow type brooch dating to 43-100 AD. There is the remains of a pieced lug on the rear of the head which would have mounted the spring and external cord, both of which are missing. The wings have a convex face with a recessed triangular cell. vertical band at the tip. The bow is undecorated with a series of triangular cells all of which would have probably contained enamel.  The lower part of the bow is truncated resulting in the loss of the catchpate.

An incomplete cast copper alloy and iron knife, the handle of which depicts an erotic scene, dating to the Roman period (c. AD43-410). The knife is missing all of the blade with the exception of the tang and the surviving handle has suffered significant corrosion and wear. The base of the handle is an irregular worn block 15.8mm wide and 4.7mm thick, with a slot containing the corroded remains of the blade. A complete copper alloy Roman phallic mount. The object is convex and 'T-shaped' in plan, the phallus itself being triangular in cross-section and its straight sides gradually converging towards the raised, moulded tip.
