A cast copper alloy heraldic harness pendant of probable 14th-century date (c.AD 1250 - c.1450).
The pendant is sub circular in plan and rectangular in cross section. At the top of the pendant there is an integrally cast suspension loop set at a right angle to the pendant. This is damaged and incomplete and has some corrosion around the circular perforation. The object is very worn and abraded so the detail and design on the pendant have been lost. A complete gilded copper alloy buckle with folded sheet plate of Medieval date (likely 13th century).
The buckle has an oval frame with offset, narrowed bar and expanded outer edge that is flat in section and slopes at an angle of roughly 50 to 45 degrees relative to the plane of the plate. The frame is 25.4mm wide and 10.9mm deep at the expanded edge. The plate is a rectangular folded sheet plate, with a slot cut for the pin and recessed for the frame on the outside edge. An incomplete cast copper alloy harness pendant of Medieval date (probably 13th or 14th century). The pendant consists of a rectangular plate pendant with an integral suspension loop projecting from the top. The suspension loop is 10.2mm long and consists of a roughly square sectioned shank projecting from the centre of the plate’s top edge that expands forwards to form a loop at 90° to the plane of the plate. An incomplete D-shaped lipped buckle of Medieval date (c. AD 1200-1400). The buckle consists only of a single looped D-shaped frame, the pin is missing. The front outside edge has a lip with a central notch to receive the pin. The trapezoid-section bar is narrowed, with a possible constriction related to the pin on its reverse surface. The sides of the frame are faceted. The reverse of the frame is undecorated, apart from remnants of the white metal surface treatment that covers much of the surface of the object.

The single looped oval frame has an ornate rectangular outside edge decorated with two central incised transverse lines and flanked by two pointed knops. One of the knops is defined by a medial incised groove, the other has none, possibly as a result of wear. An incomplete copper alloy annular brooch of Medieval date (c. AD 1200- 1400). The brooch frame is circular in shape and a flattened hexagon in cross section owing to facets on the upper and lower surfaces of the brooch. A c.4mm rectangular section of the frame is recessed to secure the now missing pin. This recess is, according to Egan & Pritchard 2002, diagnostic of annular brooches when comparing them to annular buckles. An incomplete medieval, gold gem-set finger ring. This has a large hollow rectangular bezel with an oval aperture (4.9mm by 2.2mm) and purple stone set within. Flanking the bezel are small flanges that are decorated with a ridged pattern of small parallel lines. The hoop has a D-shaped cross-section and is decorated at the shoulders with a series of engraved lines. In the centre of the shoulders is an oval mount for a stone, one is missing but the other still retains a hemispherical green stone. The remainder of the hoop is undecorated.

A flat circular seal matrix that has a triangular shield in the centre, which is decorated with the heraldic device of a single turreted castle in the middle. This is surrounded by the inscription + S’ PETRI DE CVWS (Seal of Peter of C...us, the final word being hard to read). On the reverse is a rearward projecting loop at one end that sits atop a central rib that runs down the centre of the reverse.

A fragment of a cast lead alloy pilgrim's ampulla dating to c. AD1350 - 1550. Only part of the lower bowl section remains. One face is decorated with a scallop shell design. The other face has a cross in a square shield and the circumference is decorated with a cross hatch band. The patina is of a dull grey/white lead oxide.
