An almost complete silver halfgroat of Edward III (AD 1327-1377). Fourth Coinage, Pre-Treaty Period. There are some small triangular nicks at around 3 o'clock on the obverse and a c. 3.25mm long tear on the obverse at 10 o'clock.
Obverse description: Crowned bust facing forward within a tressure of arches (lis on cusps, lis on breast).
Obverse inscription: EDWA[RDVS] REX ANGLI [Z] [FRAN]CI (unbarred N).
Reverse description: Long cross pattee with three pellets in each angle (reverse bar N)
Reverse inscription: POS/VI DEVM/ADIVT/O[REM] // CIVI/TAS/LON/DON…

An incomplete Medieval silver half groat of Henry VII (AD 1485-1509). Standard Type F, Class IIIc (North 1712). Tun initial mark dating to AD 1490-1500. Canterbury mint. North (1991: 102). Coin appears to have been clipped.
Overall dimensions: 19.94mm in length, 18.39mm in width, 0.79mm in thickness and 1.31g in weight.

Silver halfgroat of Henry VI (1422-1461), this is a mule (differing obverse to reverse) struck at the mint in Calais. The obverse is of the annulet issue 1422-1427 (North 1429) whereas the reverse is of the rossette mascule 1427-1430 (North 1448). This muling would suggest that the coin was struck around 1427 (possibly 1428) when both dies were in the mint at Calais.
A number of these mules are known and although uncommon it is not unique
