An incomplete lead-alloy strap mounted bridle mount of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1750-1900. Maslin’s Composite Centre Type.
The artefact is circular and composed of a concentric circular decoration. The outer ring is a twisted ropework border surrounding an undecorated flat circular with a central eight-point flower on top. The reverse is undecorated with a line of four projecting lugs which would have enabled its affixion to a horse bridle.

A stone perforated artefact of probable Mesolithic or Neolithic date, c. 10000-2351 BC.
The artefact is a rounded sub-circular sandstone with two central shallow convex dimples on each face, and a lenticular cross-section. Each dimple shows evidence of 'pecking', which may have been used together with griding to create the dimples. Scratches and nicks across both faces may be a mixture of contemporary adaptation, post-depositional damage and geological flaws. Complete copper alloy buckle, or possibly a brooch, of Medieval date, c. AD 1150-1450.
The artefact comprises a circular frame with circular profile. An attached pin composed of drawn wire loosely looped around the frame is broken at its midpoint. The artefact is lightly corroded in places and some scratches and nicks. The absence of a constriction where the pin attaches to the frame, together with a lack of decoration or clear obverse/reverse faces, is generally taken as evidence of being a buckle rather than a brooch.

Fragment of a copper alloy and enamel terret ring from the Late Iron Age/early Roman period, c. BC 100-AD 100.
The artefact consists of a fragment of the copper alloy terret ring, broken at both ends and tapering from the base to the sides of the ring. The thinnest end is broken and the exposed face is highly abraded. A circular boss with red and white enamel inlay projects from the terret ring. At its widest end is an integral curved collar with a projecting fragment with a rectangular profile extending from it.

A copper alloy handle from a seal-top style post-medieval spoon, of probable late 16th or 17th century. So called because the handle terminal resembles a seal, this examples features a flat round discoid terminal with curved baluster style collar and straight stem with oval cross section, broken at the junction between the handle and the spoon bowl. There are no maker's marks, though on more complete examples these are usually located on the bowl. It has a powdery greenish patina and some surface corrosion.

Complete solid copper alloy anthropomorphic pipe tamper probably post medieval to modern c. AD 1700-1900. Styled as a shapely leg wearing a below-the-knee boot with a slight heel and punched circular motif extending from the top of the boot to above the knee, the artefact is angled above the knee leading to the top of the thigh which has an irregularly incised cross-hatch design on the flat terminus. It has a dark brown/grey patina with patches of green corrosion and some wear around the ankle and foot.

Incomplete copper alloy rowel spur of later medieval or post medieval date, c. AD 1450-1700.
The artefact comprises a curved heel plate with a D-shaped cross section. Both sides are broken and the terminals are missing. The neck and rowel box survive. It has a powdery green patina and heavily corroded surface.
The surviving sides suggest it had straight sides suggesting it dates from after c. 1450. Rowel spurs were routinely used between c. 1450-1700 and this example lacks any clear diagnostic features to assign a more precise date.

Description:
Complete gold mourning (memento mori) finger ring probably dating from AD 1680. The ring has a D-shaped section with flat interior and convex exterior face. The interior has an inscription reading ‘Prepare to follow me LH 80’ in italic script. The exterior face has the incised image of a skull, missing the top of the head and the lower row of teeth and chin, emphasised with black niello inlay which is missing in places.

An incomplete copper alloy object probably the trigger guard of Post-medieval date (AD 1700-1900). The object is a tapering strip of copper alloy (D shaped in section) which has been bent round into a sub oval ovalshape. Both ends of the object terminate in old, abraded breaks. There is no decoration on either surface of the object. one of the ends is twisted.
The metal is a dark brown in colour with a slightly pitted surface patina.

The bowl has a flange around the circumference with 4 subrectangular nail holes. 4 have corroded square headed iron nail in situ. It appears that the flange was attached with nails to surface with an iron ring above the flange. Part of the iron ring that sat above the flange remains but is heavily corroded,

A possible copper alloy fob with red and blue enamel decoration. The mount is circular with 4 small openwork sections, which give the object the form of a broad equal-armed cross sitting within a circle. Around the outer edge of the fob are small enamelled cells which are coloured alternately red and blue. Most of these cells are now missing, and it is not possible to estimate the number of cells that would have originally been present.

Fragment of a copper alloy simple terret ring dating to the Late Iron Age/Early Roman period (AD 43 -150). The curved fragment has broadly circular section which expands in diameter from one end to the other from a diameter of 7.20mm to 10.11mm. At each end there is a circular collar-formed terminal. At the small diameter end the collar has a diameter of 8.45mm, while at the large diameter end the collar is 12.17mm. There is a single knop approximately a third of the way along the fragment, closets to the thickest diameter of the object.
