An near complete lead Medieval ampulla dating from c.AD 1300 - 1530. It has a rectangular neck and a rounded body. One of the two side loops is complete on the sides of the neck and the other has broken off. A cast copper alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, AD 1720-1790. The buckle has a sub-rectangular frame with rounded corners and a separate openwork three pronged chape with three rounded studs mounted on a spindle, one of which is now missing. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (1996, page 112, no.719, details XV and XVI). Whitehead identifies these for use with stocks, which were stiff leather inserts intended to make a collar stand up. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch, probably an applied hook type dating to c. AD 40 - 100. At the head the bow separates into two short damaged wings which measure 22.06mm in width. These are now very worn but would have probably have originally held a long spring which is now missing, along with the pin. Applied to the outer face of the bow is a thinner plate which is secured to the bow with two copper alloy rivets which still remain. A pottery strap handle fragment, probably from a pitcher, probably dating from AD 1400- 1600.  The fragment has an brownish-grey oxidised exterior surfaces and light brown-grey reduced interior and multiple mica inclusions which suggest that it is made of Lostwithiel ware.The longitudinally grooved centre of the handle is decorated with three rows of angled stabbed holes.
