A worked secondary flake of dark grey flint, most likely a waste or a trimming flake or possibly an unfinished tool. The proximal end has a small striking platform and the dorsal surface at this end has removal scars, which represent working from several angles and has small areas of possible short retouch along the sides. The distal end is unreduced and retains a patch of pale brown cortex.

A complete, medieval gold finger ring, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. Description:The ring appears to be made from two sheets or panels. The exterior is a band which is highly decorated with two concentric circles of raised, round bosses bordered by filigree, with a plain, raised band between them. There are 35 bosses on each band. An incomplete, post-medieval gold button, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The button is highly decorated with concentric circles of raised pellets and filigree rings. The attachment loop is missing, and has been broken off along with part of the gold plate on the underside of the button. Measurements: diameter 10.58mm, thickness 1.70mm and weight 0.83g Discussion: gold buttons with similar decoration, though not exactly the same have been recorded on the database. An incomplete copper alloy enamelled unidentified object of uncertain date, all edges very water-worn but the original shape still apparently retained. A possibly incomplete probably medieval to post-medieval (1200-1800) copper-alloy mount, perhaps a book fitting, with a single integral rivet to the reverse. At one end of the artefact is a square, measuring 15.8mm in length and 18.6mm. Each corner has a pointed oval cut out, leaving a central cross with square ends. There are faint traces of gilding remaining within grooves which outline the pointed ovals, but not discernible anywhere else. An incomplete Roman silver finger-ring, dating to the period AD 43-410. It is incomplete insofar as the intaglio which would have been set in the bezel is now missing. The frame of the ring is still complete. It is a Henig Type VIII, measuring 20.57mm in height, 25.58mm in width and weighs 5.89g. The thickest part of the ring, around the hoop, measures 2.01mm in thickness. The bezel measures 1.05mm thick. The hoop has no decoration, until just before the shoulders. A Post-Medieval gold posy ring, probably 17th century in date and inscribed on the inside of the hoop: *BE.TRVE.TO.THY.FRYNDE. (The stops being triangular punches). The exterior of the hoop is keyed all over to take enamel, with traces of a green enamel remaining. Flanking each edge is a narrow flange. The hoop of the ring is 3.12mm wide and D-shaped in cross-section (being 0.89mm thick). It has a diameter of 16.27mm and weighs 1.20g.

A cordate Middle Palaeolithic flint handaxe, bifacially knapped and lightly iron stained. There are areas which appear a pale buff colour on each side as they have not been stained. The remaining area is coloured in shades ranging between mustard yellow and a dark brown on the edges of the most stained areas. There is a small shallow hole in the ventral face of irregular shape.

A worn and incomplete cast copper-alloy artefact of probable post-medieval date. It is formed of a sub-triangular central element with an arm protruding from one of the corners. There is a large central piercing in the central element (Dia.: 10.1mm). Its sides are formed of two incurving arcs which continue into the protrusion.
