An incomplete iron post-medieval (AD c.1600-c.2000) Indian khanda-hilted 'Firangi' sword, missing most of its blade and fragments of its handguard. Overall, the sword measures c.390mm long, 115.9mm wide and 76.7mm thick. It weighs 661g. The sword's hilt is a khanda hilt or an Indian basket hilt. The khanda is an Indian broadsword with a blunt point commonly used from perhaps as early as AD 320 to the present day. Two fragments of flint working debitage (waste material) dated as probably Neolithic due to association with a worked tool found with these two flakes and of the same material (recorded separately). The flakes are of an amber-brown mottled colour with partial cortex remaining and carry all the classic signs of debitage including the right curvature in profile, bulbs of percussion, ripples, ridges, striking platforms and bulb scars. An incomplete cast lead-alloy probably modern (c.1838-c.1950) Sumac spice bag seal from Palermo in Sicily, Italy. The seal would have been used for a bag of the spice Sumac, which was produced around Palermo. The seal is bifacial, oval when laid flat and rectangular in cross-section. The slot through which the cord would have been attached is marked by two shallow indentations on opposite sides, but the hole is blocked by dirt. The object is fan-shaped when laid flat, with the circular main body tapering to a square stud, though this appears to be due to being worn away. The obverse depicts a mullet with hatched diagonal lines radiating from its outline. This design is probably representative of the Communist star symbol. The reverse appears undecorated. Two body sherds from a medieval vessel (AD c.1200-c.1500). The fabric is hard, quite fine and has frequent, very small black inclusions. The fabric is orangey-grey in colour and one surface is covered with a dark grey outer layer. One sherd measures 30.1mm long, 25.3mm wide and has a wall thickness of 6.1mm. It weighs 6.31g. The other sherd measures 32.2mm long, 25.3mm wide and 5.2mm thick. It weighs 5.05g.

A fragment of a copper alloy medieval or post-medieval vessel (AD c.1200-c.1700), consisting of the leg and foot. The leg is triangular in cross-section. the top surface is sloped and slightly concave as this formed part of the inner surface of the vessel. The foot of the leg has three triangular toes that project forwards from the base of the foot, which is slightly sloped as well. As a result the leg stands at about 100 degrees.
