A lead object of uncertain date. The object is diamond in plan and D shaped in section. The face of the object is very rough, with eight semi-circular projections. The reverse is much smooth and has a d-shaped in section projection, that in plan looks like two conjoined circles, likely from casting. The object has a cream patina. A complete lead alloy undecorated spindle whorl dating to the Medieval to Post-Medieval period (c.AD 1200-1700).  The object is sub-circular in plan, with a hole running through its middle which has become filled with lead alloy that has a brown patina. In section, the spindle whorl is D-shaped.The object is well worn and irregularly shaped potentially from erosion through use. Its surface has a creamy light grey and brown patina.  It is hard to date spindle whorls as their form has remained unchanged since the Roman period.

There are two crudely made holes either side of the base that are different sizes and irregularly shaped potentially used for a screw/nail to pass through there are irregularly spaced and made grooves or incises on the outer surface of the object between 5-6mm in length. The object has a grey/cream patina and both surfaces are smooth.  The object is similar to SWYOR-96CC57 and LVPL-EFC799.

Cylindrical lead and iron object, potentially an ox knob dating to the Post-Medieval period (c.AD 1700-1900). The cylindrical object is made from lead and has a grey/cream patina ,but two iron well corroded fragments extend from either side of its base and fill the opening in its base that have an orange/brown colour.  This may be a corroded nail/screw that was used to fasten the knob onto the horn of an animal through two holes either side of the object.  The object is similar to SWYOR-96CC57 and LVPL-EFE349.

An incomplete lead two disc cloth seal dating from the Post Medieval period, AD 1553 - 1700. It is an example of the County series. The two discs are fastened by a split pin type arrangement and a connecting tab. Only one disc is present,and part of the connecting tab which has been squashed. The design is a portcullis of four by four squares with the letter 'E' above, potentially for the county 'COLCHESTER'. An incomplete copper alloy pastry jigger dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1800). The object is comprised of only the wheel of the instrument, the handle is missing. The wheel is roughly circular in shape with a serrated edge. Both faces have a grooved surface of repeating lines that radiate from the centre. The centre present some iron staining indicative of the attachment rivets to secure the wheel to the handle. The object has a dark green patina.
