Late Iron Age copper alloy terret, probably of 1st century BC to 1st century AD date The terret is fragmentary, represented by the bar and lower part of the hoop on one side (with a surviving height of 27.5mm, a surviving width of 28.5mm and a weight of 9.0g). The terret has broken across the bar on one side and across the hoop on the other. The hoop was oval sectioned (with a width and thickness at the break of 5.1mm and 4.6mm respectively). Early Bronze Age bronze Developed Flat Axe of Aylesford type (following Schmidt and Burgess 1981) or Class 4 (following Needham 1983; forthcoming), dating to Needham's (1996) Period 3 (c.1950-1750 BC). The axe is near-complete but is heavily corroded (with a length of 112.8mm and a weight of 173.1g). The butt is narrow (with a width of 18mm and a thickness of 3mm) and was moderately straight. The sides are straight as far as the midpoint, below which they are concave and expand to the eroded blade tips (with a surviving blade width of 56.0mm). The original blade edge has been lost …

A copper alloy anthropomorphic male figure, of Roman date. Incomplete figure of a male, with only the torso represented. The head, one arm, the other forearm and both lower legs are missing. The figure has a surviving height of 38.6mm, a maximum width and thickness across the shoulders of 23.2mm and 12.8mm respectively. The figure does not appear to be clothed and is posed standing upright with left arm behind and right arm against the body. The rear of the piece is poorly cast with a number of casting flaws. Medieval lead ampulla or miniature phial, probably of 13-15th century date. The ampulla is near complete; missing only both handles (one of which has broken relatively recently) and small areas on both faces. The rim and neck of the vessel is open. The base of the ampulla is comparatively rounded and forms a semicircular bottom edge. The remnants of the side loops are discernible on the shoulders of the base and midway along the neck.
