A complete copper alloy finger ring probably of post medieval date (c. AD 1600 - 1900). The ring has a thin, 3 mm broad, D-sectioned band, and a pyriform bezel, which may be intended as a shield or possible heart or tear drop, 9 mm tall and 7 mm wide. The bezel expands from the band and does not appear welded or affixed. The bezel is smooth and undecorated; there may be incised lines on the band either side of the bezel but this is uncertain due to corrosion. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman finger-ring, probably a Henig Type VIII dating to the third century. Only the bezel and part of the upper shoulders survive. The bezel is oval in shape with raised edges that rise above the shoulders. The setting is missing leaving a hollow interior. The underside of the bezel is flat and undecorated and features an uneven casting seam extending across the centre. The broken shoulders are oval in cross-section and very worn. A complete copper-alloy Finger Ring of probable Middle Bronze age date (1500-1150 BC). The spiral is circular in plan and formed of one overlapping coil which is ovate in cross-section with both terminals being blunt. The metal is dark green in colour with a slightly pitted patina. Height: 13.94mm, Diameter: 22.10mm, Thickness: 3.55mm, Weight: 11.2g See also LEIC-84CFF2, HAMP-7556B3 and SF-4497E7. There are also examples of comparable spiraloid rings in the Near Lewes hoard (SUSS-C5D042) and the Ockham hoard (SUR-B41DB6), both Middle Bronze Age in date.

The object is composed of a D shaped sectioned gold band. The outer face of the ring is plain and undecorated. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman finger ring dating to AD 43-200. The ring cosists of the bezel and the shoulders of the ring, and part of the hoop. The bezel is oval in shape with two circular voids on either side. A complete copper alloy post medieval finger ring, dating from 1700-1800. The hoop has been some damage to the hoop which has distorted the shape, making it oval. The hoop is D shaped in cross section. There is no decoration on the ring. On the inside on the hoop there are incised lines running round the circumference of the hoop, this is from casting. The ring is a dark brown colour, and measures 22.6mm by 18.5mm, and is 2.1mm thick. It weighs 3.05g.
