A cast copper alloy ring, possibly a finger ring, or ring associated with a candle holder of Post medieval date or other such household objects. The ring has uneven thickness due to manufacturing error, wear, or corrosion. The ring now has a maximum diameter of 21mm not including the “bezel” and maximum hoop dimensions of 3.7mm wide and 1.4mm thick. One section of the slightly crushed hoop is extremely worn, being only 1.7mm wide and 0.5mm thick. Five fragments of silver badge in the form of a cockerel, made in repoussé technique out of thin sheet metal, and externally engraved to provide crisp details of feathers and wings. There are the remains of four wire attachment loops soldered to the reverse, one at the back of the head, one on the tail, and to on the 'ground' the cockerel stands on. There is a plain scroll running beneath the cockerel's breast engraved with the motto Si deus nobis/cum ('If God if for us, [who can be against us?]' - Romans 8.31) in neat lower case italic script. Post Medieval copper alloy buckle of 17th century date The buckle is of rectangular double-framed form and is complete (less the pin), but has broken with a length of 47.3mm and a width of 31.21mm. Both outer edges and the central area, above the bar, are decorated with trefoil knops. The buckle weighs 6.8g and has poor surface preservation with a mid-green patina.

The gun is cast in iron, with an overall length (muzzle to cascabel button) of 2.8m. The first reinforce bears the raised inscription: ALIT LIBERT And the 2nd reinforce the raised legend: RAMUS AU CREUSOT LAN.2. The left trunnion is incised P over 2486 for the weight; the right trunnion was corroded, but appeared to bear a founders mark or a number. The touch hole has a priming trough, and recess on the reinforce for a firing mechanism. Simple sword- belt fitting consisting of a parallel sided plate with two drilled attachment holes, one of which cuts the side. The upper end of the plate has a gentle curved wave. The hook curves back upon itself and has a circular cross-section, which gradually narrows in diameter. The plate originally carried decoration, which is now difficult to discern, but may have been a floral motif.
