[SALVS, S C] reverse type depicting Salus seated left holding patera, feeding snake rising from altar, left arm resting on chair. Mint of Rome. As RIC III, p. 442, no. 672a. The coin has a large circular perforation, seemingly created in antiquity, to one side of the flan that partially obscures Salus' elbow but does not damage the bust type.

Robertson 2000, 66 no. 317: ""This find...was made in early June 1958 some three miles south of Ely, between Old and New Forday Farms near Barway, Soham in Cambridgeshire. The field had not been ploughed for many years until the spring of this year but nothing was found at that time and it was only in hoeing out weeds from the beet crop in June that a few coins were found.
