An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin of early medieval date (c.700-900). Description: The pin remains as the flattened polyhedral head and approximately one quarters of the circular shank, now bent slightly, which is spearated from the head by a worn collar. The head of the pin has 14 facets, six of which are large and lozengiform, the remaining being comparatively small and trapezoid. Each facet is engraved with a ring-and-dot motif. It ends in irregular breaks at both ends. On one side it is decorated with Style II interlace. The reverse is plan. An incomplete gilded copper-alloy button brooch of early early-medieval date (c.480-550). Description: The brooch is circular and dished, with an upper-turned outer edge. Within this, the brooch is decorated with a stylised forward-facing human face in relief.
