A squashed and bent gold finger-ring of uncertain date. This artefact weighs 6.39g and is formed of a single band that forms a continuous hoop without sign of a join or solder line. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy Henig Type II finger ring dating to circa AD 100-200. It consists of the bezel and shoulders. it is C-shaped in section and rectangular in plan. The bezel contains a recessed oval setting (11.98mm x 9.22m) which would have carried a gemstone. Part of the setting has now broken off. The shoulders taper and curve sharply into the now missing loop. The underside of the bezel is flat and plain.
