Obverse: + HENRICVS.IIII.DG.FRAN.ET.NAVA.REX; crowned shield (arms of France) flanked by H either side. Reverse: SIT NOMEN.DNI.BENEDICT 1[5]95 depicting large cross with fluer de lis and crown in opposite angles. Die axis is almost 12 o'clock. Weight is 1.93g, diameter is 23.7mm, thickness is 0.8mm.

Both the objects consist of base silver Roman coins fused together, possibly by the action of heat rather than corrosion, as they are bent and there appears to be little in the way of soil between the coins. They appear stable and an attempt to separate them is not considered desirable or likely to succeed. The smaller of the two lumps consists of three coins stuck together and slightly bent. Two terminals from a Roman bracelet. Both of the fragments are in the zoomorphic shape of a snake head. Terminal A was found first (12/10/2013) and was thought to have been made of copper-alloy due to the fragment's visual appearance. It weighs 9.48g and has a sub-oval to sub-rectangular cross-section being flatter on the underside and slightly convex on the upper surface. Use of a flexible dress-maker's tape-measure shows that the fragment has a curved length of c.45.0mm. The break is transverse at a slight diagonal angle and this break extends across the upper surface by c.5.5m…
