A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman open work hound and hare folding knife handle. All that remains is the terminal end, depicting the tail of the hound which touches the solid rectangular part of the handle. It has two parallel pairs of vertical decorative grooves across it and its upper edge is moulded. At its terminal end the vertical slot, which runs through it and the rest of the handle, can be seen. A complete gilded copper-alloy early-medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) mount, perhaps from a shield-boss apex, possibly from a horse's harness. An incomplete looped transitional palstave axehead dating to the Middle-Late Bronze Age dating from about 1250 - 950BC. The palstave is a transitional type with a deeply undercut stop. All that remains is the centre of the axehead, with the terminals of the blade and butt missing. It is encrusted with corrosion.  It has a thin butt with flanges that expand from the extant areas of the butt to the stop in a triangular shape. The tallest part of the flange is at the stop. An incomplete early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) radiate-head brooch dating to AD 500-570. The base of the foot and pin are missing; but is otherwise complete. The head is broadly cruciform in plan, with a semi-circular head plate and three semi-cylindrical projections. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman enamelled plate brooch. It is disc-shaped and its outer face is decorated with a raised ring around the outer edge and two smaller concentric raised rings in the centre. The three fields between these rings contain a white paste, with the middle ring retaining red enamel. To one side of the reverse there is a single-lug pin fitting covered with corroded iron and to the other side the remains of a small catch-plate, its hooked outer edge missing. An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy anthropomorphic buckle frame. The plate is openwork in the form of a stick figure, with stylised arms forming sub rectangular loops on either side of a slim body with bifurcating legs below, these ending in old breaks. The body and limbs are decorated with rocker arm zig zag decoration. The head is ovate and convex projecting out from the flat body and has crude features of eyes and mouth defined by deep incisions. From the top of the head projects a rounded attachment loop retaining a rivet for attachment to the strap.

A cast copper alloy spectacle (double loop) buckle of c.1550-1650. There are angular lobed knops at two symmetrical points on the external edge of each loop and at either end of the strap bar. The front of the buckle frame has a tapered edge on the loops and strap bar. The reverse has a plain flat surface. File marks are evident on its front surface. The loop of an iron pin is present but missing the main formation of the pin. It has suffered a wide break on one loop. An example can be seen in 'Buckles 1250-1850' by Ross Whitehead fig.382.

A complete cast copper-alloy harness pendant of medieval date (c.1200-1400). Description: The pendant takes the form of a lion, passant. Its tail is in an S shape over its back and integral to this is an attachment loop, set perpendicular to the lion. The lion has moulded facial features and engraved hair/ fur. The reverse is plain with file marks. The pendant has a dark grey patina and has patches of gilding.
