The object is D-shaped in plan and slightly convex in profile. It has rounded edges. It is a fairly flat piece of lead, with roughly incised oblique cross hatched lines on the convex face. An incomplete flint microlith of Mesolithic date, 8000 - 4000 BC. It is formed from a tertiary blade of patinated light grey flint. It is triangular with the base snapped. One of the long edges has abrupt short retouch.  It is 13.4mm long, 7.1mm wide and 2.2mm thick. <0.1g.
