Robertson 2000, 4 no. 16: ""An account of some gold British coins and Roman silver consular and imperial coins found in a field, opposite Lightcliffe Chapel, within a few yards of the present road, in a Roman vessel, between the years 1828 and 1831.. The writer of this account was fortunate in obtaining four of the British Gold Coins in beautiful preservation, twenty-six of the consular coins and five of the Imperial Coins.
