A flint flake, possibly a core rejuvenation flake or a scraper, but heat altertered and crazed, with some damage, making identifiaction difficult, It is probably Neolithic to Bronze Age in date, 4000 BC - 1000 BC. It is a tertiary flake which has apparently been struck from one end, with clear removal scars on the dorsal face, a previous striking platform forming the left edge and a potlid or pressure fracture on the ventral face which truncates further removals. The flint is white and is crazed, leaving jagged fractures in areas of damage. The previous removal scars and prev…

The larger one is cylindrical, except two of the faces are unworked. It has an oval striking platform producing bladelets and small flakes. It is 26mm long, 27.1mm wide and 16.9mm thick. 16.2g. The smaller chunk is probably a core and is lightly worked and irregular, with multiple striking platforms. The product is small flakes and blades and there is some platform preperation. It is 26.5mm long…

A flint possible core of possible Mesolithic date, 10,000 BC - 4000 BC. It is a large chunk of yellow cherty flint which is crazed and fractured from exposure to heat or file, making the original form difficult to recognise. Most of the surfaces appear to be natural fracturing, but two may be blade removal scars from a cylindrical core, probably from two opposing striking platforms. The chunk is 34.3mm long, 45.1mm wide and 31mm thick. 46.4g. It could also be a chunk of heat damaged debitage or natural stone.

A flint probable core, of uncertain date from the Mesolithic period to the Iron Age, 10,000 BC - 1 BC. It is a secondary irregular chunk of semi-translucent mottled brown flint, with cortex on one face. The cortex face is a platform from which flakes have been removed on all sides. There is also a second platform at right angles to this. The products appear to have been a mixture of small blades and squat flakes. There is no visible platform dressing.
