Post medieval copper alloy spoon, probably of 17th century date The spoon is fragmentary and damaged, missing the end of the handle (with a surviving length of 116.2mm and a weight of 32.6g). The bowl is of fig-shape (69mm long, 49.9mm wide, 9mm deep and 0.7mm thick) and is crushed. There is a maker’s mark within a segmented or beaded punched annulet on the bowl beneath the handle. An incomplete copper alloy sheet plate from a composite medieval strap end (c. AD 1230-1450). The plate is tongue shaped and has two holes for rivets at its squared-off end. One of the corners is missing. File marks are visible on both faces as well as traces of soldering on the terminal edges of the inside face. This object would have formed one plate on a two piece strap end or a three piece (with a spacer).

Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Aesica type and of 1st century AD date The brooch is incomplete, missing the spring and is corroded (with a length of 40.1mm, a surviving depth of 16.6mm and a weight of 16.0g). The brooch is of closed form and is cast in one piece but employing a separate spring mechanism, with the missing axis bar secured through a central lug behind the head (21.2mm wide).
