A corroded copper alloy French crown jetton of Charles VI of France, (1380-1422), minted in Paris circa 1385-1415. Obverse: royal crown with large central fleur de lis and a letter A between annulets on the band, surrounding legend probably reads [AVE MAR]IA GR[ACIA PLENA] or variant. Reverse: triple stranded cross fleuretty in four arched tressure. Cf. Mitchiner (1988), 468-477 etc.

An English copper alloy Medieval jetton of late pictorial issue dating to the mid 14th century (reign of Edward III). The obverse has a six-petalled flower within a circular border at the centre of a cross fleury with small rosettes between the arms, the whole within a beaded circle and an external margin of pellets. The reverse is a cross moline with pellets and six-pointed stars or mullets in the quarters, all within a beaded border and an external border of pellets. Cf. Mitchiner 251.
