A rare 'Christogram' gold ring with a black-letter inscription in lower-case letters reading ihc engraved on a sub-oval bezel. The inscription means IESUS CHRISTOS SALVATOR (Jesus saviour of man). The ring is probably 15th century but could be earlier.
