Post Medieval copper alloy chafing dish handle. The handle is a voided T in shape. It would have been attached to the chafing dish by a short lug. A copper-alloy mount, probably a furniture fitting, dating to the post medieval period (c.AD1700-1900). The zoomorphic mount depicts a bird stood on a plinth. The plinth is oval shaped in plan and concave on its edges. The birds legs and tail project from the plinth. The body is slender and the wings are kept close to the body which leads to the forward pointing head. The sides and base are all closed, and the upper surface has a sub oval hole that is lightly recessed before riding to a lip. The object has a cream patina. Neolithic to Bronze Age chert scraper and two possible burins on a tertiary flake. Semi-abrupt sub-parallel retouch to the longest edge to form the scraping edge. At the ends of the working edges there are small angled removals that appear intentional. These result in what appear to be burins or gouges on the respective corners. There are removals to the ventral and dorsal faces that allow the tool to be held more comfortably. Suggested date range c4000 to c1000 AD. Length 29mm, width 20mm, weight 4.16g.

Probable Roman copper alloy casting waste with the probable imprint of a human thumb or finger. The surface of the depression has myriad small peaks consistent with a digit being put on and lifted off the metal before it fully cooled. Suggested date based on patina and colour in relation to other copper alloy artefacts from the area is c43 to c410 AD, though it could well be earlier or later. Length 55mm, width 25mm, thickness 4mm, weight 36.47g.

Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, probably for a shoe or pair of breeches. It is curved in profile, sub-rectangular in plan, undecorated, and the frame has been drilled to fit a separate strap bar. This strap bar or spindle and the pin are absent There are remnants of corroded iron, probably from the pin, adhering to one of the outer edges. The buckle shares similarities with Whitehead's No 661. Dates from c1690 to c1720 AD. The length is 38mm, width 30mm, thickness 4mm, and the weight is 7.49g.

Post Medieval copper alloy biconvex button. It has a domed outer face and is circular in plan. Most of the rear and the attachment loop are absent. The outer face is decorated with an engraved central decoration consisting of a stylised flower within a circular border. The outer surface of the button has a white metal finish, probably silvering. It probably dates from between c1600 and c1750 AD. The diameter is 25mm, thickness 5mm, and the weight is 4.65.

Treasure case 2020 T975 Description A mostly complete, but in two pieces, gold armlet dating to the early Bronze Age (c.2100 – 1900 BC). It is decorated with embossed ribs and belongs to the embossed goldwork tradition (see Needham 2000a). The object is formed from a cylindrical band of sheet gold with no visible seams. In cross-section it has a corrugated appearance with eight bulbous embossed ribs, six decorating the body and two forming the rims. The ribs are evenly spaced with flat bands in between.
