A cast white metal religious medal of the Post medieval period. This is similar to a miracle medal and probably dates from the 19th century. It is circular and possibly has a suspension loop at the top. One side of the medal depicts Jesus in relief facing left inside a beaded rose orb with halo behind and the other side is inscribed with +IHS+ the Latin for Jesus Christ Saviour with a cross above and symbol for the trinity below within a crown of thorns all within a rose orb beaded border. The diameter is 37mm and the weight 13.16g.
