A copper alloy hooked tag of Post Medieval date, probably AD 1500 - 1600, or Read class D, type 3. Only the lozenge shaped sheet metal plate survives. The fittings were soldered on and are now missing. The object is lozenge shaped in plan and white metal on the front suggests that there was a separate, smaller lozenge sheet soldered to the front. The back of the object is flat and undecorated. There is a silvery layer which has been applied to the top of the copper alloy surface and is uneven.
