A post medieval lead alloy coin forgery of a Charles I halfcrown, the original dating AD 1645-1646. The coin is silvered, which is now flaking off the surface, revealing a white metal beneath (probably a lead alloy). The coin has also been damaged on the edge, leaving a rectangular section removed. This is a copy of a North (1975, 135) type 2213 halfcrown.
Dimensions: diameter: 32.63 mm; weight: 9.43g.
