An Early Medieval silver Anglo-Saxon Sceat, dating to c.AD 700 - 715. Series W (Primary). Obverse: standing figure, right, long hair and jutting beard holding long cross pommee either side, with skeletal arms and fingers. The figure probably originally had a mailcoat of pellets, however this has been lost to surface wear. Reverse: Cross crosslet on saltire cross with a central pellet. Abramson Group 108, Type 20. Diameter: 12 mm  Weight: g

A complete silver early medieval sceatta of Wodan/Monster Series X, of Continental/Danish type, dating to period c AD 710-800. Obverse: Wodan head with splayed hair, long moustache, pellets in neat W shaped beard, cross either side. Beaded rim Reverse: Crested monster of Series N, type 41, in flight, left looking back. with raised trefoil tail, claws below, pellet outline. Beaded rim.
