A small, worn and incomplete small denominational silver medieval coin of continental origin, probably a light denier, obole or maille.
One side, probably the reverse, has a band with unclear lettering, possibly [...](On)[...] or part of a temple motif. The other, probable obvere, has a stylised form which may represent a bust and bishop's mitre. The legends have been lost on both sides.

An agreement under Edward IV in 1469 confirmed the Low Countries coinage of Duke Charles as legal tender in England. In the late 15th and early 16th century, double patards of Charles the Bold were a part of the English currency and feature regularly in hoards alongside English groats as well as being recovered as single finds.
