Reverse: Short cross pattee with quatrefoils in each angle. The coin is flat, but exhibits two parallel creases, suggesting that at some time it has been re-used as a token or charm by being deliberately bent into an S-shape. Mint of Lisbon.

An incomplete contemporary copy of a gold Portugese coin, possibly a quarter Moeda with a value of 1000 Reis of Peter II (Dom Pedro II) of Portugal (AD 1648-1706). Date and mint uncertain.
The coin has a copper alloy core and is gilded to present a gold appearance. It is incomplete with about a quarter of the flan being lost, and both faces are well worn.

A Medieval to Post-Medieval gold 10 Cruzados (Português) of Manuel I of Portugal (1495-1521), dating to AD1499-1521 (Gomez 74.05).
The coin has a small, round punch mark (located at 3 o'clock on the line of the inner circle on the obverse, and by the top of the central cross at at 1 o'clock on the reverse) which has almost pierced the coin. The punch was made from reverse to obverse.

A contemporary copy of an 18th century silver Portuguese coin; probably a 200 reis coin of Ioannes V dating from 1706 - 1750. The coin is crudely cast in lead and there is a bend and crack in the flan. The reverse of the coin is almost worn smooth. Measurements; diameter 27.7mm, thickness 2.8mm, weight 14.58g.
Obverse: IOANNES V D G PORT ET [ALG] REX. Crowned arms of Portugal flanked by four rosettes on the right, and illegible markings on the right as viewed.
Reverse [IN HOC] SIG[NO VINCES]. Maltese cross with a quatrefoil or flower in each angle.
