A silver hammered genuine cut half solid long cross penny of Edward I or II 1300-1310, Berwick, Blunt class 4b or 4c. The obverse shows part of a crowned forward facing bust, the half surviving is from just left of the initial mark clockwise round to about the 5 o'clock position. The initial mark is probably a cross pattee. The obverse legend reads EDWAR[...]. The reverse shows a solid long cross with three pellets per quarter. Reverse legend reads [...]REV/[....] the legend following the 'REV' reads either VICI or VYCI. The coin is from the Berwick mint, Blunt class 4 either B or C, …
