A copper-alloy, or very debased silver, medieval long cross penny, probably a contemporary imitation of either English or Continental origin, c.1247-c.1280.
The coin is in very poor condition and is extremely worn. There is a cut across the centre of the obverse and reverse. The coin is slightly bent which suggests that the cut was created by piercing through the reverse.
