A very worn and slightly clipped 14th-century silver medieval penny, a continental imitation of sterling type issued by William of Namur (1337-1391 AD), struck at Namur (c. 1348 - 1391 AD; Mayhew type 361a). Within the Mayhew type 361 pennies, the 361a is closest to this example as it too features a misaligned crown and initial cross on the obverse face.

A Medieval silver long cross penny probably dating to the 14th century. It measures 15mm and is worn, clipped, bent and split. The coin appears to be a sterling imitation, but the piece is too damaged and bent to be certain.

An incomplete medieval silver sterling imitation penny issued by Robert of Béthune, Count of Flanders (1305-22), and struck at Alost (Mayhew 211-15, 217-9, probably M219). Ref: Mayhew 1983: 82-5. The mistruck shape of the face appears to be the same as Mayhew 219b and the reverse-barred N on the obverse and Lombardic n on the reverse seen on that coin is also seen here. The edge of the flan is missing between 4 and 8 o'clock on the obverse. A silver medieval continental sterling imitation of Henry VII, King of the Romans (1308-12), minted in Luxembourg (Mayhew 254). Ref: Mayhew 1983: 102. The coin is poorly struck with parts of the inscription indistinct including the beginining of the obverse inscription. The location of the first letter suggests it followed the set of three pellets seen in Mayhew 254.   +:hEnRICV (eagle) S:DEI:GRA obverse depicting a crowned bust facing. ROM/ANO/RVM REX (eagle) reverse depicting a long with three pellets in each quarter.
