An incomplete, clipped cut half penny which is a medieval Continental sterling imitation of an Edwardian coin struck for Gaucher of Châtillion, Count of Porcien and Constable of France, dating to the period 1313-1318/22. Minted at Yves, near Florennes, in what is now Belgium. Mayhew type 237.
The upper half of this coin is missing (cut). The lower right hand edge is missing (damaged). The coin measures 19.1 x 11.3mm, is 0.4mm thick and weighs 0.7g.
Obverse: bust facing, should be crowned but top half of coin is missing. Legend: [GAL]ChSCOMESPO[RCI].

The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust. The legend reads GALChS COMES PORC. The reverse depicts a long cross with three pellets in each angle. The legend reads MONET NOVA YVE.
