A complete and worn Medieval Continental sterling imitation of an Edwardian coin struck for Gaucher of Chatillion, Count of Porcien and Constable of France, dating to the period 1314-1322. Minted at Yves, near Florennes, in what is now Belgium. Obverse: +GALChSCOMESP[O]RC; Crowned ruler facing. Reverse: [MON]/ETA/OVA/[YVE]; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant. Diameter: 18.0mm. Weight: 1.00g. DA=12:3.
