A worn silver Medieval continental imitation of an Edwardian Sterling penny with crockard bust. This is probably a coin of the Dukes of Brabant and Limburg (Belgium), c.1279-1312 AD, although a close identification is problematic due to the preservation of the coin. The coin appears to have a copper-alloy core with silver surfaces.
