An almost complete, Medieval Early C14th, struck or hammered, silver alloy Continental sterling of John 'The Blind', King of Bohemia (Luxemburg) (1309-1346). Type 258-262 of good silver metal. Obverse: crowned head facing. Inscription: [IOh]AN(n)E [S:DEI:]GRA. Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each angle. Inscription: REX[BO-E]ETP OL(O). Mint name: Luxemburg. Die axis: 7 o'clock. Worn or fine condition but a fragment of the edge legend between 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock has broken away and it is slightly clipped with a grey and light brown tarnished surface.
