An incomplete Medieval silver cut halfpenny coin of Stephen (AD 1135-1154), Awbridge type dating to AD 1154-1158. North (1994) number 881 (BMC type vii). Uncertain moneyer, mint probably Northampton or Norwich. The coin is 18.8mm long, 9.1mm wide, 1.0mm thick and weighs 0.68g. It has been cut along the line of the reverse cross.
