The obverse inscription is: HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR. The reverse shows an orb in a three-arched tressure with angles at each joint. The reverse inscription is GOTES REICH BLIBT EWICK, meaning 'God's kingdom (realm) remains eternal'. This matches Mitchner 1540. The jetton has been pierced for reuse.

It is very worn, but just enough of the design is visible to be able to identify it as a Ship Penny Jetton of Hans Krauwinckel I (1562 – 1586). It depicts a sailing ship on the obverse, and four fleur-de-lis in a lozenge on the reverse. For reference see Mitchiner (1988) Jettons, Medalets and Tokens, Volume 1, numbers 1480 – 1485.
