A Post Medieval copper alloy coin: a struck coin (probably a paisa) of the Indian Princely State of Baroda. It features the 'scimitar' or curved sword used on much of the later coinage of Baroda. Critically, above the scimitar, is the Nagari script for 'kha ga' which occurs on the coins of Khande Rao who ruled Baroda AD 1856-1870. Post Medieval silver 8 Reales coin dating to 1689. The 8 Real was often referred to as a 'piece of eight' and has long been popularly associated with Pirates in literature and films. A post medieval copper alloy jetton of the Lion of St Mark type. Obverse shows the lion of St Mark facing left, reverse has the imperial orb is atressure of three arches. The legend appears to be nonsense suggesting this is an anonymous issue dating c. 1500-1570 made at Neuremberg (Mitchiner 1988, 361, ref. 1107). The token is 26.0mm in diameter, 1.1mm thick and weighs 4.9mm.

A corroded copper-alloy coin weight of probable late medieval to post-medieval date. No exact match could be found for this weight, but similar pieces are illustrated by P. and B. Withers (1995; pp. 32). They are identified as being from Germany or the Low Countries and for the Rijder coin and fractions thereof. The coin weight is square in plan and is uniface, the stamped surface having the image of a horse advancing right, carrying a rider who possibly holds aloft a sword.
